Kobe Steel increases welding material price by over 10% for all users in September shipping for stable supply. The firm raised selling price by over 20% for the shipping in April. The demand for welding material keeps higher level for shipbuilding, construction machinery and steel frame while is getting slow for automobile.The firm’s production cost is increasing when the material price for steel wire, steel sheet, manganese, chrome or freight is rising. The firm said additional price hike is needed for stable supply. The firm raises export price.The firm raises selling price of flax cored wire, solid wire, welding rod or submerge welding material except for aluminum welding material and backing material. The firm already prefers price hike to major users in September shipping.
