The market price of brass bar keeps flat with potential increase around Tokyo. The market price is around 740 yen per kilogram for free-cutting bar with 25 millimeters diameter, around 750 yen per kg for 10 mm diameter and around 800 yen per kg for 5 mm diameter.Japanese largest brass bar makers raised their purchasing price for brass turning scrap by 12 yen to 598 yen per kg on 22 July, the indicator for brass bar price. Brass bar makers have announced the hike of their rolling charges by 20-30 yen per kg.
