Japanese steel makers’ carbon steel order receipt increased by 0.9% to 6.793 million tonnes in June from a year earlier, announced Japan Iron & Steel Federation on Monday. The orders decreased by 1.4% to 4.722 million tonnes for domestic market while increased by 7.2% to 1.933 million tonnes for export. The order receipt maintained steady from export and manufacturing industries such for automobiles and vessels. Meanwhile the demand declined from constructions, home and industrial machineries.
