High Carbon Ferromanganese Price Increases by 16.9% in June.

Japanese high carbon ferromanganese import price increased to CIF 242,500 yen per tonne by 16.9% in June from May, according Ministry of Finance. The price increased for 3 consecutive months. Silicon manganese import price increased by 3.5% and represented upsurge for 2 consecutive months. Ferroalloy import price is increasing from the same period of last year other than nickel. Japanese major ferroalloy import sales increased to 148.8 billion yen by 68% or 60.2 billion yen in April-June from January-March.

Ferrovanadium import price increased by 67.2% in April-June from January-March. Average ferroalloy import price increased by 17.8% in April-June from January-March. Ferrochrome import price increased by 54.9% and silicon manganese import price increased by 49.4%. Ferroalloy import volume increased 42.6%. Japanese ferroalloy import volume increased by 3.8% in April-June from the same period of last year. Average ferroalloy import price increased by 38.7% in April-June from the same period of last year. Manganese ferroalloy import price increased by over double. The amount of all ferroalloy import increased to 45.4 billion yen.
