Japan Steel Export Rises by 7.8% in July

Japanese steel export increased by 7.8% to 3.276 million tonnes in July from a year earlier, announced by Ministry of Finance on Thursday. The export value increased by 22.2% to 426.891 billion yen. The import increased by 5.2% to 732,403 tonnes and by 37.1% to 125.179 billion yen. The export volume and value increased except for Middle East and Russia. The import volume and value increased from China and Asian countries while the import from USA and European Union decreased both for volume and value.
