Nippon Mining & Metals announced on Monday the firm reduces the official copper ingot price by 30,000 yen to 870,000 yen per tonne for September shipment. The firm reflects lower offshore market and higher yen rate. The price is the lowest level since mid-August. Mitsubishi Materials announced on Monday the firm increases the official lead ingot price by 11,000 yen to 260,000 yen per tonne for September shipment. The firm reflects higher offshore market. Mitsui Mining & Smelting announced the firm keeps the official zinc ingot price at 240,000 yen per tonne for September shipment. The firm left the price unchanged when the cash price at London Metal Exchange rebounded to US$ 1,778 per tonne at afternoon session on Friday while the settlement was US$ 1,720.5, which was US$ 85 lower than previous price revision by Mitsui Mining & Smelting.
