Nippon Seisen Stainless Steel Wire & Fiber eases up the output reduction of stainless steel wire with order receipt recovery. The firm has decreased the output by above 50% compared with the capacity. The firm will narrow the output cut range to 20-30% in October though continuing temporary suspension of some operations among the departments. The firm adjusts the production with actual demand to improve profitability.

The firm’s production capacity of stainless steel wire is above 3,000 tonnes per month. The firm reduced the output by about 70% during January-March compared with the capacity and by 50% in May. The demand keeps low from building constructions. On the other hand, the firm said order award volume is recovering from automobiles and electric appliances in April-May. The firm adjusts the operation among the departments along the demand level.
