Daiki Establishes Secondary Al Alloy Sales Office in Guangdong, China

Daiki Aluminium Industry, Japanese largest maker of secondary aluminium alloy, plans to establish a sales company in Foshan City of Guangdong Province, China in December 2009. The new company will sell AD12.1 grade secondary aluminium alloy to Japanese die casting makers and automotive component makers’ plants in Guangdong. Delta Aluminium Industry, Guangdong based Chinese major secondary aluminium alloy maker in which Daiki holds 20% equity, will supply AD12.1 grade ingot to the new sales company. The capital will be US$ 3 million. Total investment is estimated at US$ 6 million.

Delta Aluminium Industry produces secondary aluminium alloy at 3,000 tonnes per month, half of which is exported to Japan. The company plans to expand the output to approximately 100,000 tonnes per year in future. Daiki aims to establish a sales network in China through the new company along with Delta’s output expansion.
