San-Etsu Metals to Launch Brass Bar Sales Office in Guangzhou

San-Etsu Metals, Japanese copper fabricated products maker launches the operation of the office in Guangzhou, China in April. The office supplies brass bar and wire to electronics and automobile related users in southern China. The firm aims the shipment of 190 tonnes of brass bar and 10 tonnes of brass wire per month until the end of 2010 and the monthly sales is estimated at 120 million yen per month at the end of the year.

San-Etsu Metals has 3 Chinese subsidiaries in Shanghai and Dalian. The new office in Guangzhou sells brass bar, tin plated brass wire and precision component, which is manufactured by subsidiary in Dalian. The new office plans to sell copper turning scrap.

The main market of brass bar in China is concentrated in middle and southern part of China. San-Etsu Metals has a subsidiary in Shanghai and supplies brass bar to the users in middle part of China. The firm improves the better delivery service for users in southern China through the new office.
