Yukita Electric Wire to Expand Output at 3 Chinese Plants

Osaka based electric wire maker, Yukita Electric Wire expands 3 Chinese production bases to meet higher demand for wiring harness, power code and photovoltaic unit in China. The firm moves and expands Shanghai plant in May. Chuzhou plant acquired second plant for solar battery wire unit while Jiangxi plant builds new warehouse for better work flow. The firm expands the photovoltaic unit production to monthly 1.5 million units after the offshore expansion when the firm already started photovoltaic unit production in additional 2 Japanese plants in January.

The wholly owned subsidiary, Shanghai Yukita Electric Industry, which makes wiring harness, power code and photovoltaic unit, moves to new site with 3 plant buildings with 2,500 square meters floor space each. The firm plans to expand the space in the building step by step.

Chuzhou Yukita Electric Industry, which makes electric wire and wiring harness along with electric manufacturing service, acquired second plant with 4,000 square meters floor space near current plant. The firm converts the plant to start production of photovoltaic unit in mid-April.

Jiangxi Yukita Electric Industry, which makes wiring harness, power code and photovoltaic unit, builds new plant building by end of April to expand the production. The firm doubles the work space to 4,000 square meters and increases the workforce from 300 to 500.

Yukita Electric Wire, which makes photovoltaic unit at Kusatsu plant in Shiga, started photovoltaic unit additionally at another plants in Shiga. The firm develops new products in the domestic sites and improves the productivity at domestic plants.
