YKK to Spend 16.2 Billion yen for Architectural Business in F2010

YKK Corporation keeps the capital expenditure for architectural products business at high level for fiscal 2010 starting April. The capital expenditure is planned to be 16.199 billion yen, decreasing by 1.589 billion yen from fiscal 2009. The firm plans 37.22 billion yen of expenditure for the group’s all business including fastening products.

YKK Corporation invests 14.536 billion yen for domestic architectural products business. The firm plans to optimize the domestic 34 of YKK AP’s production plants into 24 plants while the firm builds a new 11 billion yen window manufacturing plant in Saitama starting operation in July 2011.

The firm plans 1.663 million yen of architectural business expenditure in fiscal 2010. The firm could increase the expenditure for overseas architectural business when the firm conducts feasibility study for potential plants in India, Malaysia and Vietnam in fiscal 2010.
