Kinki University and Naniwa Roki Co-develop Test Machine to Produce Recycle Fuel

Kinki University and Naniwa Roki, Osaka based cast iron melting facilities maker, announced on Tuesday they cooperatively developed equipment to demonstrate commercial production of recycle fuel, Bio Cokes, made from plants. The university and Naniwa Roki collect operation data and try to commercialize the equipment within fiscal 2010 ending in March 2011.

This equipment has production capacity of about 4 times compared with an conventional testing machine, which can produce bio cokes at about 400 kilogram for 10 hours and about 1 tonnes for 24 hours. The University and Naniwa Roki realized 24-hour automatic operation of the equipment including material supply.
