JISRI Hosts First International Ferrous Recycling Forum

Japan Iron and Steel Recycling Institute held the first international meeting, International Ferrous Recycling Forum with around 110 attendees in Yokohama on Thursday. The institute held the forum to discuss issues for international steel recycling industry with five overseas organizations.

The delegations were participated from Japan Iron and Steel Recycling Institute, China Association of Metal Scrap Utilization, Korea Iron and Steel Association, Taiwan Steel & Iron Industries Association and Bureau of International Recycling and Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries.

Mr. Tsunefumi Nakatsuji, the president of Japan Iron and Steel Recycling Institute made a speech at the forum the institute wishes to study the trend of international steel recycling and to discuss the solution for the issues.
