Nippon Steel announced on Thursday the firm established a joint equity method affiliate, NS Hi-Parts Corporation with 7 partners to promote the sheet steel forming frame building including steel framed house. The new company aims 2.6 billion yen of sales in 3 years and 5 billion yen of sales in 5 years through the structural design, selling roll forming section and construction steel hardware.
The headquarter of NS Hi-Parts Corporation is in Gifu, which is near the roll forming plant of partner service center, which makes the roll forming section. Nippon Steel built more than 10,000 units of sheet steel forming frame building since the firm launched the original Nittetsu-Super Frame building system in 1996. The sales of the business of Nippon Steel were around 1.7 billion yen in fiscal 2009 ended March 2010 or 10,000 tonnes of steel volume. NS-Hi Parts Corporation supplies the roll forming steel construction materials and promotes sheet steel frame building to housing makers, general contractors and other users while the firm provides parts development service for photovoltaic cell and automobile related manufacturers. The firm provides the counseling service to the construction companies in China and Taiwan.
