Sangyo Shinko Increases Ferrous Scrap Storehouses

The Sangyo Shinko, Japanese major ferrous scrap dealer established storehouse of ferrous scrap in Kawasaki city and Ibaraki prefecture. The firm will increase supply of ferrous scrap to domestic and overseas users such as Nippon Steel group. The firm buy adjoining site of Tokai storehouse at ended March 2010.

Kawasaki storehouse is seated in quay and was established in April. Site area is about 2,900 square meters. Kawasaki storehouse can stock ferrous scrap at about 3,000 tonnes, which supplies ferrous scrap to steel makers around Tokyo or Osaka with other storehouses in Yokohama and Funabashi.

Hitachinaka storehouse in Chiba prefecture was established in near Ibaraki airport in June. Site area is about 5,000 square meters. The storehouse collects high quality ferrous scrap and supplies it to steel makers around Tokyo or overseas by marine transit, which aims to ship at 2,000 tonnes per month.

The firm advanced to increase supply base for correspondence of need from users, and improve quality of ferrous scrap. The firm acquired adjoining land at 6,000 square meters of Tokai storehouse for enhancement of shipment to Nagoya iron Works and expansion of business around Nagoya.

The firm has 21 bases in domestic and overseas. The sales is 67.9 billion yen in fiscal 2009 at ended March 2010. The firm aims to increase the sales to 100 billion yen and shipment of it to 3 million tonnes per year until fiscal 2014.
