Sanyo Special Steel introduces a 5,000 tonnes free forging press machine for around 5 billion yen to increases bearing steel output meeting wind generators demand growth. The firm has started the construction and launches the operation in September 2011. Monthly forge steel output increases to 4,000-4,500 tonnes from 3,000 tonnes with 1,500 tonnes and 3,000 tonnes machines.
The Japanese largest bearing steel maker has slightly more than 30% share. The firm increases the output for wind power generator. The generators are getting larger when power cost decreases in proportion to wind turbines dimension.
