Tokyo Rope Gets First Rope Detector Order from Russia

Japanese largest steel wire rope maker, Tokyo Rope Manufacturing got order for crane wire rope breaking detector from Vladivostok, Russia based bridge general contractor for the first time.

Tokyo Rope has the offices in Moscow and Kazakhstan. The firm aims to increase the sales of rope related products and engineering products including rockfall and avalanche protecting work while the infrastructure in these countries is improving preparing for Asian Winter Games, held in 2011 in Kazakhstan and Olympics, held in 2014 in Russia The firm has accepted order from Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering and Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries.

Tokyo Rope’s wire rope breaking detector is applied for crane wire rope with 10-50 millimeters diameter. The firm aims to increase the sales of detector, constant breaking monitoring machine and rope life analyzer. The sales of elevator rope detector stay firm in domestic market.

Tokyo Rope, which has sold the detector over 20 years, is the only maker of both wire rope and rope breaking detection equipment. The firm plans to increase the sales in overseas growing market.
