Japanese major temporary construction material leasing companies, Hirose Corporation and Marubeni Construction Material Lease announced on Friday they established first Japanese construction material leasing 50/50 joint venture in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. The JV launches leasing business targeting US$ 6 million of annual sales in 2016.
The JV, Hirose Maruken Vietnam with US$ 2 million of capital provides the service for local users by utilizing sheet pile and other materials from the parent companies operations in Thailand and Singapore. The JV eyes potential local procurement of the materials depending on the demand and conditions. The construction investment in Vietnam is expected to increase by more than 10% per year.
