Nippon Kinzoku Plans 3.2B Yen Capex for F2011-2013

Nippon Kinzoku, Japanese major stainless steel re-roller, announced on Tuesday its new mid-term management plan for fiscal 2011-2013 ending in March 2014 and revealed the firm plans capital expenditure at total 3.2 billion yen for 3 years. The firm aims to increase the sales ratio of new products and strategic products to 20%, including stainless steel foil, stainless steel products for spring, bright steel sheet such as magnesium alloy foil, high precision deformed bar, small diameter and fleshy stainless tube and thin silicon steel sheet.

As for the overseas business, the firm tries to raise the sales ratio to 30% from present 20% while starts forming processing in Thai coil center. The firm also progresses global cultivation of human resources. The firm aims to build up high-profitable business scheme and enhance its presence in global market. The strategic investment is projected at 1.9 billion yen.
