Daiki Holds New Secondary Aluminium Alloy Plant Opening Ceremony in Indonesia

Daiki Aluminium Industry, Japanese largest secondary aluminium alloy maker, held an opening ceremony of the new secondary aluminium alloy plant in Indonesia on July 22. The new plant’s output capacity is 2,500 tonnes per month. This is the second overseas plant wholly owned by Daiki Aluminium Industry. The first plant was established in Thailand.

The new plant is located in Karawang International Industrial City, Jawa Barat, Indonesia, where Japanese vehicle and motorcycle makers hold local plants. The industrial estate is 56 kilometers east from Jakarta. Daiki Aluminium Industry’s new plant site is approximately 42,000 square meters.

Daiki Aluminium Industry established a local company to import and export secondary aluminium alloy, aluminium scrap and melting facilities in Kota Bekasi in April 2010 with US$ 8 million capital fund. The sales company acquired a license as a productive company in October and started the plant construction.
