Toyota Tsusho Corporation announced on Friday the firm seeks growth with balanced profit from automobile area, life area and environmental and resource area under the new 2020 vision. The firm tries to expand the business with even profit from the 3 business areas by maximizing the synergy.
The firm invests 250 billion yen in 2 years to the year ending March 2013. The firm invests 60 billion yen in automobile supply chain including coil center and parts manufacturing. The firm also invests 190 billion yen in other areas including recycling, rare earth, lithium, natural gas, renewable energy and grain. The firm seeks growth in automobile related business. The firm also expands the business in daily life including health, medical and food businesses and in resource, infrastructure and environmental related business as growth areas. The firm tries to develop the business portfolio with synergy between the businesses. The firm launched vision 2015 when the firm merged with Tomen Corporation. The firm targeted 100 billion yen of net profit in the year ending March 2016 with balanced business portfolio between automobile and other business areas.
