Weak Bronze Alloy Price in Osaka

Bronze alloy ingot market price decreased by 15 yen per kilogram around Osaka. The casting grade ingot price is 940-950 yen for CACIn 402 grade, 975-985 yen for 403 grade, 790-800 yen for 406 grade and 870-880 yen for 407 grade.

The bronze ingot price turned downward along with lower primary copper ingot price. One local alloy ingot maker to supply for casting would hold the selling price with expectation for stable price under higher raw materials cost in early May while the official copper ingot price decreased by 80,000 yen to 750,000 yen per tonne. However, the official price peaked out at 790,000 yen and decreased to 770,000 yen on Monday. Tin ingot price is also low compared with the recent peak. The bronze ingot market price is apparently decreasing.

Bronze alloy demand is slow for waterworks, construction machinery, automobile and shipbuilding. Supply of raw materials of copper and bronze scrap remains tight. However, the materials price would decrease along with the lower official copper ingot price. The bronze alloy ingot price would decrease more.
