BHP’s Iron Ore Production Hits Record High for July–September, Up 3.7%

Australian mining giant BHP announced on October 20 that its attributable iron ore production for the July–September quarter rose 3.7% year on year to 66.45 million tonnes.

Despite extensive maintenance activities at its Western Australia Iron Ore (WAIO) operations, both mining and port operations achieved record production levels for the July–September quarter.

BHP maintained its iron ore production guidance for the fiscal year ending June 2027 at 260 million to 272 million tonnes.
