6 general merchants and traders announced their financial results for April-June of fiscal 2015, on August 6th. As for net income or loss of metal related branch, Mitsubishi ended in the red, and profits in 5 firms including Mitsui, ITOCHU, Sumitomo, Marubeni and Sojitz, declined. They were on the background of a decrease of resource price including iron ore and coal and dropping product price, and decreased energy related steels demand cauded by low price of crude oil.
