Crude Steel Output in China Drops for the First Time in 20 Years

Crude steel output for Jan-Mar in China decreased by 1.7% from the previous year to 20.1 million tons. The quarter term result dropped for the first time in 20 years.It is the result of slowing down of real-estate development. Some of steel works is stopping operation due to declining incomes and environmental control by government.
