Cold Rolled Stainless Steel Imports of Jan Drops by 39.2% from the Last Year

According to stainless steel import result of January Japan Stainless Steel Association reported, hot rolled steel sheet decreased by 0.6% from the previous year to 3,644 tons, and cold rolled steel sheet dropped by 39.2% to 6,758 tons. To compare with the previous month, hot rolled steel sheet rose by 34.6% and cold rolled steel sheet increased by 47.0%. Total of bar steel and steel pipe decreased by 27.5% from the previous year to 13,988 tons.
