Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal announced on 5th, high ductibility shipbuilding steel sheet “NSafe-Hull” was used to a bulk cargo ship of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines for the first time in the world. Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal had been conducting researches into the steel sheet that has a high ductibility and a high shock absorption with Imabari shipbuilding and National Maritime Research Institute.
