Tokyo Steel is reducing material cost in fiscal 2014 ending March 2015, increasing use of low-cost scrap, promoting securement of stable procurement root. The firm will increase use of low-cost turning which has been used fully since fiscal 2013, and C press. Tahara plant will also start to accept A press including all parts of used car from the second half of this fiscal year. To decrease scrap purchasing average price improves earnings more.
