Bare metal price of Chinese magnesium dropped to the lowest level in 5 years on the background of homeostatic excess production. Export price for Japan decreased by 80-130 dollers per tonne to 2,550-2,580 dollers in the second half of February on April 1st. A lot of magnesium factory compel deficit balance because the price dip below the production cost.
