Ferrous scrap price made a rally in Kanto area. Tokyo Steel Utunomiya factory raised ferrous scrap purchasing price by 1000 yen per tonne since April 1st for the first time in around 4 months, and other 7 factories in Kanto increased by 500-1000 yen per tonne. The ferrous scrap purchasing price (H2 basis) by Kanto electric furnaces steel makers rose to around 28,500 yen – 29,500 yen per tonne, and around 30,000 yen at high price for the first time in around 3 months.
