Tokyo Steel Starts to Accept A-press by All Parts of Used Car

Tokyo Steel formed a consortium with scrapper and trading house, and started to accept A-press by all parts of used car from October. Acceptance of A-press by the consortium is the first time for Tokyo Steel. Utsunomiya purchased 150 tons in October. Okayama will start in November, and Kyushu starts in December. In each areas, Tokyo Steel forms some consortiums and aims to increase purchasing amount. All factories including Tahara factory plans to deal in the future. Use of A-press which is comparatively cheap price leads to material cost cut, and geoenvironmental load is reduced because shredder residue does not generate.
