January Zinc Consumption in Japan Increased by 17%

According to Nonferrous metals supply-demand dynamic statistics Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry announced on 14th, January zinc consumption in Japan, total of electrolytic zinc and distilled zinc, up by 17.4% from the previous year to 29715 tons, it was increase compared with the previous year for the 4th straight months. These for zinc-coated steel plate increased by 25.1% to 15819 tons, on the background of firm demand for earthquake disaster reconstruction.
