Japan Rare Earth Demand of 2012 Decreases by 31.4% from the Last Year to 14,470 Tons

According to Japan Rare Earth Demand of 2012, Japan Society of Newer Metals announced on 15th decreased by 31.4% from the previous year to 14470 tons. Didymium and neodymium that used to battery car including hybrid auto and rare-earth magnet for motor of energy saving home electronics, diminished to half because of prolonged inventory adjustment by users. Cerium also dropped.
