Kobe Steel to Switch Suspension Springs from UHS1900 to ACROS1950

Kobe Steel plans to switch suspension springs from existing leading UHS1900 to ACROS1950 which is a high grade low alloy type wire rod sequentially. ACROS has same level intensity and feature as UHS, and it is low cost because it need less additive amount of expensive alloy. It substituted for around 15% of UHS in 2 years since it was released. Kobe Steel aims to completely switch UHS to ACROS in about 10 years.
