World Steel Association announced on 22nd that world crude steel production increased by 1.2% from the previous year to 1.5478 billion tons. Outputs in China increased by 3.1% to 716.54 million tons, they accounted for 46% of all. Developing country contributed rising output like India and Korea recorded high. Though North America increased for the 3rd straight years, European Union decreased for the first time in 3 years and Japan decreased for the 2nd straight years.
