Copper and Copper-Base Alloy Production is the Lowest Level for the First Time in 35years

According to November copper and copper-base alloy production quick estimation that Japan Copper and Brass Association announced on 25th, total output of copper and brass products decreased by 5.2% from the previous month to 62,560 tons. It dropped to the lowest level for the first time since 1977. All kinds of strip products decreased substantially due to slowdown of demand for semiconductor and automobile. Copper strip decreased by 20% from June which recorded high in these days. Brass bar kept 15,000 tons level while demand remains low level.
