Adjustment mood in demand for rolled aluminum products, in August

There is a budding trend to adjust demand for rolled aluminum products. According to the announcement by Japan Aluminium Association on 27th, output of rolled aluminum products in August, a total of board and extrusion product, decreased by 5.3% to 144,020 tons, it underran the previous year’s result for the first time in 6 months since February 2012. Shipments also decreased by 3.8% to 148,838 tons, it is a decrease for the first time in 2 months.
