Japanese dealer’s H-beam inventory decreased by 4.9% to 180,200 tonnes at members of Tokiwa-kai, which is group of distributors dealing Nippon Steel’s products, at end of August, according to Nippon Steel. The stock decreased for the straight 2 months. The inventory rate decreased by 0.12 points to 2.01 months of the shipment. Nippon Steel sees the stock should be decreased further. The firm aims to improve the supply balance continuing production cut in Kimitsu Works, and improve the price for building.
