Production of phosphor bronze is recovering. According to Copper and copper-base alloy products production quick estimation of July that Japan Copper and Brass Association announced on 28th, bronze sheet strip increased by 5.7% from the previous year to 3,506 tonnes. It is an increase for the first time in 21 months compared with the same month last year, since October 2010. Though demand for almost of electronic materials keeps still low level, it for smart phone caused this result. About copper strip and Brass strip, demand for vehicle installation continues to keep high level. On the other hand, Brass bar production still remains low steadily.
