According to crude steel production plan of July-September 2012 Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry announced on 31st, crude steel outputs are estimated to increase by 2.2% from the previous term to 28.098 million tonnes. It is increase for the second straight quarter and reaches to 28 million tonnes for the first time in 9 quarters. The plan of July-September is up 997,000 tonnes over crude steel demand forecast Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry reported in the end of June due to a reaction to production trouble in previous period and increasing of half-finished products stock in anticipation of partly improvement.
