Taiwan Authority Terminates AD Investigation on Japan Electrical Steel

Taiwanese Ministry of Economic Affairs announced the ministry suspended antidumping (AD) investigation on electrical steel import from Japan on May 24, according to report by Japan Iron and Steel Federation.

China Steel Corporation (CSC) filed the case against import of non oriented electrical steel from Japan in November 2011. The ministry launched AD Investigation in March. But CSC dropped the case and the ministry canceled planned hearing in April. Taiwanese Ministry of Finance will announce termination of the investigation.

Ministry of Economic Affairs suspended AD investigation on import of cold rolled flat steel from China and South Korea when the petitioner dropped the case.
