JS Group to Increase Capital Expenditure by 19% in F2012

JS Group Corporation announced on Monday the firm plans to increase capital expenditure by 19% to 62 billion yen for fiscal 2012 started April from fiscal 2011. The firm will invest around 9.3 billion yen for expansion of aluminium sash production capacity at Oyabe plant in Toyama. The firm will also invest 4-5 billion yen for building material plants in China.

Oyabe plant will increase sash making extrusion machines from current 1 to 4 lines. The plant will double coating line to two lines and add one melting furnace. The plant will expand the building by around 10,000 square meters for wider space for material stock and introduction of new extrusion machines.

JS Group will increase capacity of building material plant in Dalian and sanitary fixture plant in Suzhou, China. The firm develops local market through the expansion while the plants export almost all products for Japan.
