The firm builds new plant with around 2,970 square meters of floor space for processing and rents building with 1,500 square meters of space from the group company, HMY in Yasugi for inspection.
Hitachi Metals processes forging products at the new plant as downstream operation of Japan Aeroforge in Okayama, which is forging joint venture of Hitachi Metals, Kobe Steel and IHI. The joint venture can make large forging products at 50,000 tonnes press machine to serve air plane and power plants. Hitachi Metals processes some of the forging especially for complicated products.
