Japan, South Korea to Hold Steel Dialogue in Tokyo

Steel delegations from Japan and South Korea hold No.13 dialogue in Tokyo on Thursday. They exchange information on market condition while they talk on stainless supply, Asian trade restrictions and counter import activity in the countries. They try to share the basic information between major steel trade partners.

Japanese delegations include Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry director of iron and steel division Koichi Shiota and executives from major steel makers. South Korean delegations include officials from Ministry of Knowledge Economy and steel makers.

They exchange information on Asian restriction actions including antidumping duties and obligation of own standard. They also talk on counter import activities including Korea Iron & Steel Association’s new committee.
