Baoding Longda Aluminium to Get Listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange

Chinese major secondary alloyed aluminium maker, Baoding Longda Aluminium Industry, in which Tokyo based deoxidizing agent maker, Nippon Kinzoku has 40.38% interest, plans to get listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange in and after 2017. The firm tries to enter automotive parts business through the financing.

Nippon Kinzoku plans to increase the share in Balding Longda Aluminium Industry to 45% in the month. The top shareholder supports the growth of the Chinese alloy maker.

The alloy maker plans to build die casting plant to make automotive parts for engine and transmission after the listing.

The alloy maker has expanded the business in recent years. The subsidiary, Guangdong Longda Aluminium builds second plant with annual 25,000 tonnes of output capacity to start melted aluminium supply for transplants of Japanese automakers in July. The second plant doubles the capacity in 2014.

Baoding Longda Aluminium Industry’s another subsidiary, Longda Aluminium (Yantai) started mass production in February. The plant reaches full capacity operation in 6 months. The plant adds 2 furnaces in September to increase the capacity by 20% to 60,000 tonnes per year.

Baoding Longda Aluminium Industry also builds new plant with 50,000 tonnes of annual output capacity in Changchun to start operation in January 2013. The plant increases the capacity to 70,000 tonnes in 2014.

Baoding Longda Aluminium Industry plans to decrease the output by 15% to 50,000 tonnes in 2012 from 2011. The group increases the output by 15% to 55,000 tonnes for Guangdong Longda Aluminium and to 32 times at 32,000 tonnes for Longda Aluminium (Yantai) while Guangdong Longda Aluminium’s second plant plans to make 3,000 tonnes.
