Yokohama based ferrous scrap dealer, Fujishige Corporation opened new scrap shipping yard at Kawasaki port. The firm plans to deal monthly 5,000 tonnes of scrap at the yard with 2,250 square meters of land.
The firm tries to expand the dealing volume through the new yard. The firm opened new yard in Kanazawa port, Yokohama in 2009, which is 5 kilometers away from the headquarters. The firm decided the new Kawasaki yard to expand the volume especially for ocean transport. The new Kawasaki yard has same space as Kanazawa yard but the new Kawasaki yard can utilize larger berth.
