Tokyo Steel to Shorten Delivery Time for Sales Expansion

Tokyo Steel Manufacturing tries to shorten delivery lead time to enhance the sales. The firm expands the sales from the inventory and speeds up decision-making by each business branches. Mr. Kiyoshi Imamura, director of the sales division, gave an intention to shorten delivery lead time and improve services for customers. Users and dealers currently tend to reduce inventories to reduce inventory risks when raw material prices are volatile. The firm will reinforce variety, size and quantity of inventory products at existed inventory bases in Yokohama, Tahara, Okayama, Takamatsu and Kyusyu works.
