J-Spiral Steel Pipe to Improve Process Service

Japanese led Vietnamese steel pipe pile maker, J-Spiral Steel Pipe expands processing capacity including welding as a part of expansion to more than 4,000 tonnes per month by February 2012. The firm improves the services for higher order receipt and production in the market.

JFE Steel, Maruichi Steel Tube and Toyota Tsusho Corporation purchased the plant last year and renamed the plant into J-Spiral Steel Pipe. The firm got Japan Industrial Standard for steel pipe pile earlier the year and increases the sales for Vietnamese infrastructure works.

The firm makes monthly 1,000 tonnes of products. The firm expands the capacity to meet growing demand in Vietnam. The firm increases the employees by 14 to 80 by end of 2011. The firm adds Vietnamese first heavy duty coating facility in December while the firm converts the pipe making line for higher production speed and larger diameter products with maximum 3,000 millimeters compared with current 2,800 mm.
