Showa Denko Establishes Management Company in China

Showa Denko announced on Monday the firm established a management company in Shanghai, China on October 14. This is Showa Denko’s regional headquarters in accordance with Shanghai Municipality’s rules introduced in 2002 for foreign multinational corporations. The management company supports operation, governance and marketing of Showa Denko Group companies in China. The management company was established with capital fund of US$ 2.3 million (approximately 175 million yen), wholly invested by Showa Denko. There are 18 staffs.

Showa Denko’s major subsidiaries in China include Showa Denko (Dalian) to produce aluminium cylinders for printers and Baotou Showa Rare Earth Hi-tech New Material to produce neodymium based magnetic alloys.
