Ohkawa Corp to Launch Automotive Parts Making

Japanese precision mechanical parts maker, Ohkawa Corp. launches automotive parts making while the firm makes parts for semiconductor manufacturing equipment and telecommunication equipment. The firm eyes monthly 50 million yen automobile related sales through fiscal 2015 ending in March 2016.

The subsidiary of Japanese major nonferrous metals trader Alconix, had been introducing 5 machining centers in plant in Fukusima since last year. The firm also introduces the facilities to launch aluminium and stainless steel cutting for automobile parts.

Ohkawa Corp. tries to increase automotive parts sales for automobile makers in Northern Japan and around Nagoya. The firm tries to increase the annual sales to 3.6 billion yen in fiscal 2015 from 2.5 billion yen in fiscal 2010.
